Everybody Welcome

Accessibility Statement

What we have done to make this site usable by everybody, what we know is not perfect yet, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.

What we are aiming at

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, the international standard for making websites usable by people with a disability. We are a private business, so the public sector accessibility regulations do not apply to us, but the Equality Act 2010 does: we have a duty to make reasonable adjustments so that a disabled customer is not put at a disadvantage. We would want to anyway.

What we have done

  • It works without a mouse. Every link, button, filter, slider and photo gallery can be reached and operated from the keyboard, in a sensible order, and you can always see which item you are on.
  • Skip to main content. Press Tab as soon as a page loads and the first thing you get is a link straight past the header.
  • Every photograph is described. Machine photographs carry the machine's name and which photo it is, so a screen reader tells you what you are looking at.
  • Text you can read. Colours were checked for contrast in both light and dark mode before they went in, and the whole site can be zoomed to 200% without anything being lost or overlapping.
  • A dark mode, for anyone who finds a bright white page hard work. The switch is in the header, and the site remembers your choice.
  • Proper page structure. Headings run in order, forms have real labels, and the specification tables on machine pages open and close without needing JavaScript: so they can be read either way.
  • No surprises. Nothing auto-plays, nothing flashes, and nothing moves on its own.

What is not perfect yet

We would rather tell you than let you find out:

  • Some machine descriptions are long runs of typed lines copied from the maker's original sheet. We reformat them into a proper table wherever we can recognise the fields, but a few older listings still read as one long block.
  • Photograph quality varies. Some older machines have only one photograph, and a few are not as sharp as we would like.
  • The tonnage calculator is a dense page of figures. It works with a keyboard and a screen reader, but it is demanding. If you would rather we just worked the job out for you, ring us. That is quicker anyway.

If something gets in your way

Please tell us. We will fix it if we can, and if we cannot fix it quickly we will find another way to get you what you need: including reading a listing out over the phone or emailing you the details in whatever format suits you best.

We aim to reply within one working day.

If we do not put it right

If you are not happy with how we have dealt with it, the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) can advise you. equalityadvisoryservice.com

How this site was checked

This statement was prepared on 11 August 2026. The site was tested using automated checks across every page, all 1,000 of them: covering image descriptions, form labels, heading order, link text, keyboard access and colour contrast, alongside manual keyboard testing of the search, the filters and the photo gallery.

Automated testing cannot catch everything, so if you hit something that a machine would not notice, we would genuinely like to know.
