For work afterwards we use trusted third-party engineers we have worked with for years, the same people who are in our warehouse most weeks, working on our stock alongside our own staff. They know these machines because they have already worked on and serviced them.

The Engineers We Use

The engineers we send out are in our warehouse most weeks, working on our own machines alongside our staff. They are not names from a directory.

Hydraulic and mechanical specialists. Rams, pumps, valves, seals, alignment and mechanical drives.
Electrical and fault-finding specialists. Control gear, wiring, safety circuits and intermittent faults.
CNC specialists. Control faults, retrofits and programming, and the same people who deliver CNC training.
Familiar with the machine before they arrive. These are the makes and models they work on in our warehouse week in, week out.
You deal with them directly. They quote you and invoice you. We do not add a margin.

The Installation Package

Any or all of the following can be arranged with the machine. Tell us when you ask for the price and it comes back as one figure.

Delivery and offload, and moving the machine into position.
Levelling and packing, ready to run.
Electrical installation and connection to your supply.
Commissioning, the machine set up, tested and signed off in your factory.
Operator and CNC training on your machine, with your tooling and your material.

Without the package, the machine is delivered and the installation is yours to arrange. Either way, every machine is run and tested under power at our warehouse before it goes out, and you are welcome to attend and run a sample part.

Blades, Tooling & Spares

Guillotine blades new or reground, press brake tooling new or reconditioned, and obsolete parts sourced through the trade. Supplied whether or not the machine came from us.

Send the make, model and serial number for a part. For site work on a machine we did not supply, we will introduce you to the right engineer and you deal with them directly.

No. Call us whatever the machine is. Blades, tooling and spares can be supplied; for site work we introduce you to the right engineer.

Often. Seals, switches, blades and tooling are usually straightforward. Proprietary electronics on a machine whose maker has closed are harder, and a control retrofit is sometimes the better option. We will tell you which applies.

Send us the model and the fault and we will give you an honest assessment, including where the cost of repair stops making sense against the value of the machine.

Yes. Guillotine blades new or reground, and press brake tooling new or reconditioned. Send the make, model and serial number and we will price it.

Yes, as part of the installation package. Operator and CNC training is delivered by the same engineers, at your premises and on your own machine. Ask for it when you ask for the price and it is included in the quote.

If you want us to. Electrical installation, levelling, commissioning and training are quoted as a package when you ask for the price. Otherwise the machine is delivered and you arrange the installation yourself, which is what most customers do.

It depends on the trainer. Tell us if a certificate is required for an audit, an insurer or a customer, and we will arrange training with a provider who can issue one.
